Extended Phase-1 Habitat Survey for Laying a Cable for an Offshore Wind Farm in East Yorkshire

Extended Phase-1 Habitat Survey East Yorkshire

Udall-Martin Associates conducted an extensive Extended Phase-1 habitat survey over approximately 8km of agricultural land for a proposed cable from an offshore wind farm.

The survey included a protected species overview, hedgerow assessment and great crested newt Habitat Suitability Index scoring of all waterbodies recorded. The agricultural land included species-rich hedgerows, ponds, ditches, streams, arable (including headlands), pasture, mature woodland and copses.

Work conducted for an ecological company in 2011.
