Ecological Clerk of Works for Protected Species on a Development Site in Dagenham, London

Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)

Udall-Martin Associates provided Ecological Clerk of Works on a large proposed development site in London. We provided an ecologist on site for a three week period overseeing and providing advice on preliminary site clearance activities (involving tree and scrub removal) potentially affecting nesting birds, great crested newts, reptiles and Japanese knotweed. This involved close co-operation and good communication with a team of site contractors including the main site contractor and arboriculturists.

Work carried out for an ecological company in 2011.
