Udall-Martin Associates conducted an ecological assessment for a proposed golf course and major residential developments at Park Hall Estate, in Mansfield Woodhouse.
We carried out an Extended Phase-1 habitat survey, including a protected species overview and great crested newt Habitat Suitability Index scoring for ponds at a large estate. The estate surveyed comprised extensive parkland, grassland, mature woodland, arable fields, ponds and watercourses.
Evidence of water vole was found in one of the streams, with burrows and fresh latrines recorded.
