Ecological Assessment for Flood Alleviation Works in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire

Udall-Martin Associates carried out an ecological assessment for Flood Alleviation Works in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire

Severe weather conditions resulted in extensive flooding throughout the UK in 2007. To inform flood defence measures we carried out Extended Phase-1 habitat surveys, protected species overview surveys, desk study and production of ecological assessment reports for numerous large-scale sites in both urban and rural locations.

This included surveying the entire village of Walton Cardiff in Gloucestershire, including residential properties, a Manor House, two farms and surrounding agricultural land including arable, grassland, woodland, hedgerows, ponds and watercourses.

Work conducted for an environmental company in 2007 and 2008.
