Susie Udall (at a previous employment) carried out extensive botanical recording at Blue Lagoon Local Nature Reserve.
This involved placing quadrats (1m x 1m) and recording plant species (higher plants) to provide baseline data for future monitoring. This was carried out in a variety of habitats including calcareous and neutral grasslands, broadleaved woodland, scrub, sparse ephemeral vegetation, marsh and open water.
Work conducted for a local authority in 2000.
